Topology WG: Understanding Topology

Internet2 members can best make use of the Internet2 infrastructure when they understand its structure. The Internet2 ARENA project in one means whereby the extended advanced infrastructure made up of the Internet2 infrastructure together with its domestic US and international peer networks is being documented. The Topology WG will serve as one means for Internet2 members to contribute to ARENA and related projects.

One of the values in promoting an accurate widespread understanding of this extended advanced infrastructure will be to support the End to End Performance Initiative. Another will be to help our users know what set of sites they should expect to be able to reach with the advanced performance and functionality of this infrastructure.

Both Internet2 staff and other WG members can contribute to these.
